Who We Are, What We Do
Wiley’s Book Exchange is a family owned small business, owned by Scott and Diane Quimby, and is managed by our son Kacy, with daughter Kelly helping out on weekends. Son Anthony is another occasional employee.
Named after our family dog, Wiley, we originally opened in Carrollton, GA in September 2008. After two years our lease expired and we decided to move to Savannah. We have been visiting coastal Georgia for almost forty years and finally decided to follow our hearts. Wiley’s Book Exchange opened in Savannah in March of 2013.
Wiley’s is a used bookstore that sells and trades used books, vinyl records, CD audiobooks & DVD movies. We offer in-store credit for any item traded in. This in-store credit has no expiration date and can be used to purchase anything in the store. For more information on trades, please view our trade policy.
Our store hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 – 7:00 and closed Sundays. We are located at 8408 Abercorn St. near Montgomery Cross Road across the street from Best Buy and next door to La Quinta.
Why we decided to open a used bookstore, when many are going out of business is the biggest clue to who and what we are. We are a family of passionate readers. Our combined reading interests span every genre of books. We wanted to offer like-minded readers a store that embodies our idea of a really good book store.
We offer a huge selection of books! Books are separated by genre and alphabetized by author. We work hard to ensure that most popular books are on our shelves. DVD movies are alphabetized by title.
We want you to enjoy your time at Wiley’s and we provide seating to welcome you to browse and spend time reading.
